Console Assy# 1003 FT5 – Tan – Auto – B – E – Body – 1971-74 – ORIGINAL/RESTORED
Fits 1971-74 B body Dodge Charger; 1971 R/T, 500, 1971-74 SE, 1971-74 Plymouth Satellite, Sebring, Plus, Road Runner, 1971 GTX, 1971-74 E body Dodge Challenger; 1971 R/T, SE, 1972-74 Rallye, 1971-74 Plymouth Barracuda, ‘Cuda, 1971 Gran Coupe 2 door models with automatic transmissions. This is a complete console assembly, it has the 5 hole top finish panel. It is a medium tan in color,either a T5, or T7 trim code, it will work and mount correctly on the 1971-74 models with tan or beige colored interiors. It includes the upper plastic base, and lower plastic base, the metal finish plate with vinyl wood grain applique# 3509153, lid hinge# 3515131, the 2 piece glove box lid, also the lock cylinder, the rear ash tray receiver, with retainer, and all the correct fasteners that are used for assembly. The vinyl wood grain has a little wear in a few areas on the edges. The upper and lower tan plastic bases, and the 2 piece lid are all original items, as is the metal finish plate, and hinge. This console finish plate has original wood grain overlay, and original lock and cylinder package (no keys are included ). The lid lines up nicely with the base, it operates and latches smoothly. The unit was detailed and assembled, the lid operates smoothly, there were no repairs needed or made to the plastic bases, they are in good original condition. The thin plastic upper base area on the outer shift bezel location is nice and straight, not warped or cracked. The textured grain on the plastic matches nicely.
