This is the transmission pinion drive gear, it has 15 teeth, and mounts in the transfer case with 4 wheel drive applications on the light duty models with manual transmissions. The housing and gear are metal, good condition, all the teeth and threads are nice. It may fit more years and models then listed. 21-85-5.
