Fuel Tank Gauge# 3420845 – E – Body – 3/8″ – 1970-71 – USED
Fits 1970-71 E body Dodge Challenger R/T, Plymouth ‘Cuda models with 440 4 barrel, 440 6 pack, 426 Hemi V8 engines. This is the fuel tank gauge / sending unit, it is a used original item, with 3/8″ fuel line provision with 1/4″ vapor return line fitting. The unit has the Penta star and number# 2983083 stamped on it with a date of 240-9; 240th day 1969. This date would be correct for an early built 1970 model. It includes the brass float and gasket seal. The switch rheostat does register a variable reading, but inconsistent, it should be cleaned and calibrated for it to function properly. Overall good physical condition, it does not have any deep pitting or rust. 14-72-1.
