Dodge Charger# 6I52009584 – Project Car – V8 – Rolling Body – 1966

1966 B body Dodge Charger project car. The body Includes main body shell; roof, quarter panels, floors, frame rails, doors, front fenders, and deck lid, it has 4 wheels and tires and is in good roll-able condition. This is a very solid body that spent it’s life in the southwest, the underside is not rusted and pitted, the suspension, differential housing and related items have not been exposed to the mid-western salt. The exterior has faded dark green paint. There is a small patch section has been added on the driver’s side floor pan. The trunk floor and extensions are nice, the frame rails are very solid, the fenders and quarter panels are as nice. There are a few small dents that have been repaired with body filler. The fenders are just mounted in place and not bolted down. The roof has the drip rail mouldings still mounted on both sides. The doors and the deck lid are solid, the lower door seams are nice, and the deck lid has a very nice rear lip area. There is one small area on the drivers side quarter panel, by the wheel lip, that has a small area of light rust. The engine compartment and inner fender panels are very nice, the hinge areas are clean, and the firewall is not rusted. There is a V8 K frame included, with all front suspension items; upper and lower control arms, upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, drag link, steering link , Pittman arm, tie rod ends, strut rods, torsion bars, and also a factory front sway bar. It has an original type power steering gear box attached to the K frame. Steering column, complete with wheel and horn ring is included. Front disc brakes have been installed, complete with spindles, rotors, bearings. I believe these were installed from a newer Mopar B or F body application. It has a 26″ wide radiator provision, for a big block engine with max cooling. Includes an 8 3/8″ rear end differential housing that has a open center section, leaf springs, shackles. A Z-bar / clutch torque shaft pivot mount has been installed on the left frame rail as to be used with a manual transmission. Includes the back glass, side window door glass, vent window frames and glass. There are floor mounted brackets for attaching the center console. The doors have most of the inner items, including the window regulators, the parking brake pedal assembly is also included. The hood, quarter window glass, and windshield is not included. Originally it had the standard heater, no a/c / air conditioning. The transmission tunnel has a small modification where the shifter would mount. I do not have a title or VIN door tag for this car, it does have the body codes stamped in two locations, the left side radiator support, and the rear bumper mounting  panel in the rear of the car, they both match. Body# 6I52009584. It has the certicard holder (without the card) located on the left side radiator yoke. If you are restoring a very rusty car, or if you are looking for an additional parts source for solid sheet metal, this would be a huge compliment to your project. I would prefer the car be picked up, or contact me for possible arrangements for delivery and acquisition.
