Radio & Speaker Installation Kit# VAL63A-3AT – Dart – Valiant – 1963 – NOS
Fits 1963 A body Dodge Dart 170, 270, Gt, Plymouth Valiant V100, V200, Signet models. This is a custom installation kit, the larger of two that were furnished for Chrysler. It includes the radio face plate, metal base plate, 5 black plastic station preset buttons, 1 black plastic adjuster knob, 1 chrome adjuster knob, 2 screws, 2 hex nuts, 2 large hex nuts, 2 large hex screws, 1 cardboard speaker plate, 1 mesh screen, 2 outer speaker mounting plates, and the conversion instructions. This is the correct mounting kit for these models for original Motorola type radio units. These installation kits were serviced mainly to install radios and speakers for models the did not originally come furnished with this option (radio delete) from the factory, or for upgrades. It is mostly complete, it only includes 1 black plastic, and 1 chrome adjuster knobs, there should be 2 of each. Chrysler did not service the radio face plate kits, only the original manufacturer did, this kit is made by the Porter & Dietsch, inc. company in St. Paul MN. All the items are in very good condition, the chrome on the radio bezel is very nice, not pitted or damaged, the center lens is excellent, very bright and clear.
