This is a factory NOS original cast iron 90 degree oil filter adapter, (bolt not included), and the threaded filter adapter. Casting# 2951995, it has casting date of 9-09-70. This is used to provide clearance and angle the oil filter away from exhaust manifold and pipe. Adapter can also be used on multiple body and small block engine combinations to accommodate for exhaust manifold / header modifications. This unit has a tilted filter angle,the early version is a straight angle. 10-26-12.
