Instrument Gauge Cluster / Wiring Harness Pkg# 2958381 – Dodge Truck – D-W100 – 300 – 1970-71 – USED
Fits 1970-71 Dodge Pickup Truck D-W100-300 Conventional 2 and 4 wheel drive models, except flat face cowl model. This is the instrument gauge cluster and wiring harness package, these are all used original items. Package includes the main gauge housing# 2958273, the under dash wiring harness# 2958381, bulkhead connector# 2983666, fuse block# 3489052. The gauge cluster includes the water temperature# 2958064, fuel# 2906949, alternator# 2906606, oil# 3635195 and speedometer gauge# 2906579, the main harness is still attached. The dash harness has the provisions and connectors for the headlamp panel dimmer, high beam, wiper, ignition, heater blower, steering column turn signal switches, blower motor resistor, radio, speaker and accessories. All the connectors / insulators look good, no cuts or splices. The gauge cluster is very complete, the housing includes the gauge lens, insulators, condenser, block, all the terminals, connectors and retaining nuts. All the wires visually look good, none of the wires or insulators are melted on damaged. The fuse block is also in good condition, the fuses are in tacked, no bad wires or melted spots, including the alternator gauge terminals and harness ends, these are usually in bad condition when exposed to high load and over cranking conditions. I tested the wires for continuity and they all have good solid readings, none are broken inside the insulation. The housing has a date of 314-9, 314th day 1969. The gauge lens is not cracked, but does have a scratch on the face. This cluster and wiring came out of a 1970 D100, it was in running condition when parked a long time ago. 8-15-4.
