Engine Crankshaft Vibration Damper# 3614369 – Forged – V8 – 318-340 – 1972-73 – NOS

Fits 1972-73 V8 318 engines,1972 (early) 340 V8 engines. Use on 340 HP engines up to engine# HM340 3911-8000; approx. up to build date of 4-11-72. After this production date,a cast iron crankshaft (externally balanced) was used,and the damper is very different. This is for use in an “internally balanced” engine with forged steel crankshaft, (not cast iron). Fits A body Dodge Dart Swinger, 1972 Demon 340, Plymouth Valiant, Duster 340, B body Dodge Coronet, Charger Super Bee 340, Plymouth Satellite, Sebring, Road Runner 340, E body Dodge Challenger, Ralley 340, Plymouth Barracuda, ‘Cuda 340, C body with 318; Dodge Polara, Monaco, Plymouth Fury, Chrysler Newport models. This is for use in an internally balanced engine with forged steel crankshaft, (not cast iron). NOS unit in original box,timing mark is located by crankshaft key-way slot. No rust pitting,or damage.Excellent condition,very clean,ready for paint as is. Over time,these can become loose and separate from wear and tear,and the timing chain cover seal can also cause leak from excessive groove. 9-13-5.
